About Christina:  Christina Stoiciu has extensive professional experience in the field of international education. She obtained her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York and her graduate degree in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in International Education from George Washington University. She has worked at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and Skidmore College within the field of international education and study abroad. Now at Williams, she works closely with partners around the world to offer quality academic experiences. She is a member of Diversity Abroad, NAFSA, the Forum on Education Abroad, and has served on a number of advisory boards with program providers in the field of international education and study abroad for the past eighteen years. Christina is a recipient of the 2016 Lily von Klemperer Award for leadership and mentorship. Christina believes strongly in the transformative power of international education as an important component of any academic plan. She was drawn to this work when she studied abroad for the first time as an undergraduate student in London. It was during this time that she realized the profound importance of multicultural and global understanding in an ever-changing and complex world. She has since traveled and assessed programs extensively across the globe and is dedicated to helping Williams students determine the best possible semester study away options for them. The office works hard to provide quality advising and programming for Williams students at every step of the process. We look forward to meeting you!
